SendTestMail.com delivers test emails while keeping your inbox data private. We never store personally identifiable information and use Google Analytics and PostHog for privacy-conscious product insights.
01 / Collection
What we collect
We send your test email immediately and discard input fields once delivery is triggered. Email addresses, names, and message bodies are never stored in our database. We retain hashed message identifiers to track delivery status, and these hashes cannot be reversed to reveal your address.
To protect the service from abuse, we temporarily log high-level metadata such as timestamp and provider response codes. These records are detached from personal identifiers and automatically pruned on a rolling basis.
02 / Analytics
How we use analytics
We run Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns like page views and feature adoption so we can improve sendtestmail.com. We also use PostHog to understand product flows such as tests sent, delivery reports viewed, and Inbox Monitor setup. Neither service receives email addresses, delivery status IDs, message bodies, or other PII from us.
Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish returning visits. PostHog uses a pseudonymous device identifier and is configured without automatic interaction capture or session replay. You can opt out with a browser extension or by disabling analytics cookies; the core testing workflow remains fully functional.

If you run into any privacy concern or want a historical test removed faster, contact us via the support link in the footer. Because we avoid storing PII, requests are typically resolved as soon as matching metadata ages out of our systems.
Updates to this policy will appear on this page. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the latest terms.
